University College Bestari (UCB), also known as Bestari University College, is one of the first Private Higher Education Institutions (IPTS) in Malaysia dedicated to uplifting underprivileged Malay children, the People’s Housing Program (PPRT) recipients, and orphans from across the country who show academic potential. The establishment of UCB was driven not solely by profit motives but rather with a focus on welfare. UCB aims to provide opportunities for these disadvantaged groups to pursue higher education and uplift their socio-economic status. The institution is a non-profit-making organization.

On August 1, 2012, Bestari College of Technology was upgraded to a Higher Education Institution known as Bestari University College – UCB.
